I have the top listing on Google and 9 on Dogpile not to shabby, but I am not listed at all on Yahoo or MSN. Wow, I have Googled myself in the past and gotten results for me and a couple of other "Charlene McCormack"s but today when I did it a young woman's site came up and it had photos of her and for some reason that freaks me out so much more than just knowing there are other women with my name. My name really is not that common I have never met anyone that has my last name that is not related to me. This makes the world seem that much smaller and kind of icky that I am not as unique as I want to be. Seeing my website listed on google makes me want to update the site and make it way cooler.
I was talking to a friend about cascading style sheets, so I am going to try to redo my site using that in HTML and see how cool looking I can get it to be. http://www.csszengarden.com/ Check out this site and the sites that used the same content but changed the style sheet to make a completely different version of the site. Mozart is pretty cool with the background seeming to scroll downward revealing the musical as you scroll downward. After I finish updating my site maybe I will join the Zen competition to see if I can make an interesting enough site to get listed on Zen, hopefully.

If I google Nate MacDonald, i get a baseball player taking the first 20 links. If I google Nathan MacDonald I get doctors, singers, songwriters, and a rapper. To say the least I dont appear on the first few pages...

I am not the top return for "Dan Hitchcock," but weirdly enough some misguided fool has been leaving messages on my voicemail for the "Dan and Mae Hitchcock" which is at #1.

"Daniel Lee Hitchcock" does not return any documents (not surprising, I don't use that name on the page). Searching without the quotes returns a list of hits that have nothing to do with me or my mad rep.

I am the #1 return for "Seatown Thunder" though. Imagine that.

I found myself as the first result when I searched 'dave morgan site:students.washington.edu'. If I search for just 'dave morgan' the 9th result is a link to a profile of me on www.photo.net.

Result 54 is my blogger.com user profile. Result 118 is my BUS 490 website.
